The Blue Lagoon

A “must see” of the Yasawa Islands Day Trip is the Blue Lagoon, a paradise where you can snorkel, swim, or just relax and enjoy the incredible scenery.

Snorkeling in the Blue Lagoon is a one-of-a-kind experience. You float weightless, surrounded by living coral and innumerable fish – vibrantly colored – many of which are curious about you. You observe all this motion and activity from within a silent expanse of blues and greens.

fiji-island-day-tripHandline Fishing

If you want to try a totally different of fishing in an exotic setting, go for the handline fishing option.

Like other types of fishing, it’s both relaxing and occasionally thrilling. You may catch coral trout, snapper, or even a sizable tuna.

Handlining is one of the oldest forms of fishing, and is still practiced in many locations around the world. It’s simply a fishing line held in your hands. A hook, lure or fishing jig can be attached to the line.

To fish with the handline, you basically wind it up and throw it out. When you get a bite, you reel in the line, hand over hand, and come face to face with your catch.

The Sawa-I-Lau Caves

The Sawa-I-Lau caves are said to be the heart of the Yasawa Islands. The outer cave is brightly lit by a “skylight” – caused by a hole in the top of the cave that allows natural light inside. For a thrill, you can test your courage by swimming to an inner cave through an underwater tunnel.

Of course, on the cave trips you have instruction and leadership provided by experienced guides.

And More …

With options for hiking, jet skiing, visits to the villages, mountain hiking, fish fishing and cultural demonstrations, your day trip to the Yasawa Islands will be filled with adventure. And you will return with your mind filled with amazing memories.

Yasawa Islands Package day trip flights depart from Nadi at 8 am. The return flight leaves Yasawa Island at 4 pm. Book your trip today!
